Originally called "the Bristol Packet, " the Mote was built around the 1800s.
Located in Port Isaac, a small fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall, it has undergone many life cycles, such as a bakery in the 1930s and 40s. Until recently, it was called "the wheel house" many women in the village today tell stories of the owner "wheelhouse Willy"
